Bio:

Joshua's adaptability, dedication, and integrity allows him to better connect with students and help them excel in their schoolwork and life. Utilizing a combination of the growth mindset, extensive knowledge/experience, and a true passion for helping students ensures Joshua is able to serve as a mentor to the student and partner in their success. He feels that one of the most rewarding moments with students is when they realize they are achieving their goals and in turn expanding their options for their future. Joshua enjoys a variety of activities including a variety of sports (Football, MMA, etc.), music (basically all types - he used to be in a travelling band/group), gaming (PC/mobile), and generally all things STEM.

Education and Experience: 

Joshua graduated Cum Laude from DeVry University, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Information Systems. He maintained a 4.0 GPA, received a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Management, and received a Master of Business Administration & Information Systems Management degree with Distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management. He received Faculty Certification from, and taught Research, Statistics, and Analytics course in the College of Business for over 7 years, for the University of Phoenix. He is currently working on his dissertation for his Doctor of Business Administration & Information Systems Management degree from Walden University. Joshua has worked in a variety of Business and Technology roles throughout his 24+ year career including IT Consultant, Business Analyst, Interim/Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Director of Finance (Budget/Planning/Purchasing), Adjunct Professor, and IT Specialist. This includes extensive experience teaching, training, and tutoring students of all ages. In addition, Joshua is one of our certified Revolution Prep Learning Specialists (RPLS), having undergone extensive training in interventional techniques for students with ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, auditory processing disorders, visual processing disorders, traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, and those who are gifted or overachievers.
